OUR OBJECTIVES

At Arms Reach CIC, we’re dedicated to helping young people rediscover their confidence, motivation, and love for learning. We work with students aged 11–16 who may be struggling in mainstream education, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), social or emotional challenges, or barriers to school engagement.

Our goal is simple — to give every young person the tools, support, and space they need to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

We aim to:

Re-engage students with education through creative, therapeutic and mentoring-based interventions designed around their individual needs.
Improve attendance, wellbeing and self-esteem, helping students feel more confident and connected to their school community.
Support learners with SEN, offering tailored strategies and understanding that enable them to learn and grow at their own pace.
Work closely with schools, advising on best practices, providing specialist interventions, and helping staff build positive relationships with their most vulnerable students.
Support parents and carers, offering guidance and communication to strengthen the connection between home and school.
Provide a safe and trusted space where young people can talk, open up, and work through challenges — much like a counselling or therapeutic setting.

At Arms Reach CIC, we believe that when young people feel heard, supported, and valued, they can achieve incredible things. Our mission is to help them find that belief in themselves again.

Comprehensive Safeguarding Measures
At Arms Reach CIC, safeguarding is a top priority. We have robust safeguarding policies and procedures in place to ensure the welfare and safety of all our students. Our staff receives regular training, and we adhere to national guidelines and local authority regulations. We work closely with relevant agencies and partners to create a secure and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being of our students.
